   We want to d/l some 100 films from discs onto an external drive. Simple? Yes! However each and every unit we have tried does not have the facility to do a search. Let me try to explain. Yes we get an index of files etc. However what we cannot do is once that file is opened we have to open up each item before finding the film we want to watch.

   I am looking to build a new Desktop PC. One of the intended applications is to transfer Videos files from a DVR hard disk recorder to PC via S-Video output. Perhaps also to transfer VHS tapes via Composite RCA to PC. I am looking to preserve the quality of the current recordings which are not subject to copyright.

   The darn thing just won’t open. I clicked on the shortcut on my Desktop; I clicked on it in the Programs List, the cursor changes to an hour glass for 2 seconds, then NOTHING HAPPENS..
