Samsung BlackJack (TM) II – of any color?

How long has it been out? Did you work for you swell? Give me your opinion

Personal Information: I am a student who loves tech / gadgets so I recently sold my Blackjack I on the Auction site of choice throughout the world and bought a Blackjack II (i617) from the same place. Here's my fault, but please note some advantages and disadvantages are based on the phone and on the other system OS (Windows Mobile 6). Anyways … The Good: ===================== 1. Design I thought I hate it when I saw the first images months Extended, and I did not very bright when first tried in an AT & T store, but owning one now, I think imposing. The form, just feels well in my hand. It is nicely weighted, but not too heavy or too light. The width is large and not too broad or narrow. Of course, this depends on the size of their hand. The glossy surface I found that I prefer the matte / soft rubber surface texture of the original Blackjack. IMO, looks much more elegant than the original. The brightness is not a great problem in terms of being a magnet for fingerprints, because there is not much exposed to the fingers, except the programmable keys. This device is a fingerprint magnet, as, for example, a black, iPod or Sony PSP. It has paid much attention to detail, and is a very clean design. No more "Jog Dial" on the right side (later), and only a MicroSD port on the right and hold power port / headset to the left, and both are covered with a removable "cover Rotating measurement. IComparer that several factors other smartphones like the Motorola Q9h and various Nokias and Blackberries, and I think you look pretty ugly and tasteless compared to the i617. Well, of course, design is subjective, but I like the design. The dial scroll wheel on the right side of the i607 is indeed gone, but not lost at all. I used the Jog Dial heavily on i607, and I am concerned that this principle would be a pain to navigate on the i617, but not all. The pad also works like a spinning wheel, and works very well. There can be adjusted by the speed of travel, but can be scrolling through contacts, MP3 in your library, etc, with great quickly and easily. For menus, though, as the start menu is not as fast but not slow or cumbersome. I find it more convenient to use than the jog dial on the Old Blackjack or the Q. Moto-significantly enhanced keyboard keys slightly larger. They do not seem much bigger, but the ease of writing has increased significantly for me, and you can write much faster. Plus, the keyboard is located close to each other which is an improvement over the i607. Interest in LED light shines on red when charging and green when fully charged. Otherwise, not so useful, since there is no documentation of what magenta and blue lights mean, and no capacity so that the LED flashes continuously when a missed call or message. But better than no LED. 2. Performance: Of course, the performance issues of a smartphone, and the i617 does not disappoint in any respect. The RAM has been increased by about 50 MB on the Blackjack I, approximately 100 MB on the i617, while onboard storage ROM has increased to about 150 MB to 50 MB as well. The processor is an ARM 926E About 300Mhz, a modest improvement from the i607. Basically, all mean that the i617 can handle programs more easily and with better multitasking. Open the applications much faster than the i607, and can manage more applications open at once. Personally, I have tried several third-party programs including Skype, SlingPlayer Mobile, Pocket Nester Plus (a Nintendo NES emulator), Garmin Mobile XT (GPS navigation software) Opera Mobile browser, and a variety of Skyscape medical software (including medical Tabers dictionary and manual of Washington) and all run quickly and without problems. Additionally, Windows Mobile 6 runs at a decent speed on the i617. 3. GPS: Built-in GPS receiver is one of the best features of this phone. I used successfully out of the box, thanks to Google Maps, Microsoft Live Search, and Garmin Mobile XT without any problems in Baltimore, New York, and intermediate points. On average, it takes the i617 about 2-5 minutes to pick up the satellites from a cold start in the city. In some places, such as Wal-Mart parking lot in Baltimore, who collected satellites in 10 seconds from a cold start (eg after being off)! Note, there are reports that some have not GPS-enabled i617 box for use with non-TeleNav applications (eg Google Maps, Live Search, Garmin, etc), but you can Google and others have worked around this issue (involves hard reset your phone until it works, or installing a hack … Asked MoDaCo-dot = com for details). The other great thing about GPS integrated is that can be used in the car with a single adapter to charge the GPS and phone, which is nice after using a bl
